Hadn't had a chance, or the energy, to share the work I started on Thursday. I've been in the City (ie New York) for the past 3 days . Went to a gathering for Gaza in Brooklyn where three women shared songs of resistance, including an updated version of Woody Gutherie's "Goodbye Rosilita", and an original work, "Never Again!". Have seen lots of art, spent nurturing and sustaining time with family, and walked many hilly miles with my pup, mostly on pavement and cobblestones,. Yes, there are hills in Manhattan, especially in Washington Heights. My knees and calves can attest to that.

Next installment I'll share some pics of the art I've been seeing.

Here are some pictures from the studio on Thursday.

Tuesday's painting dry enough to move to the floor. Looking at it from this angle, I can see we have more work to do.

Starting with the blues.

And greens.
And greens.

River of paint. Oh, and glitter!

Weighing down the added elements. Should be dry by the time I get back in the studio on Tuesday.
